(DB12:214-15) James MOUNTFORD conveyed this tract & personal property to trustee John MOORE, for James SCOTT, in a deed of trust, 8 Feb 1823. (DB19:53; file at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/southampton/deeds/19db053a.txt) John MOORE, as trustee of James MOUNTFORD decd., conveyed this tract to James SCOTT, 22 Jan 1836 (rec 15 Feb 1836).
