George &c  To all &c  Know ye  That for diverse good Causes 
and Considerac'ons but more especially for and in Considerac'on of the Sum' of Ten ~ 
Shillings of good and lawful money for Our use paid to Our Receiver General of Our 
Revenues in this Our Colony and Dominion of Virginia  We have given granted 
and confirmed And by these presents for Us Our Heirs and Successors Do give grant 
and confirm unto William Kinchin of Ile of Wight County One certain Tract or 
parcell of Land containing One hundred Acres lying and being on the South side 
     Main 
of the ^ Black Water Swamp in the County aforesaid and bounded as followeth (towit) 
Begining at a Gum on the North Side of Black Creek  Thence North by East 
Eighty pole to a Three Trees chopt Inwards  Then East by South Two hundred pole to 
a White Oak  Then South by West Eighty pole to a two red Oak Saplins by the Side of 
Black Creek aforesaid  And up the various Courses of the Run of the Said Creek 
to the Begining  With all &c  To have hold &c  To be held &c  Yielding and __ 
paying &c  provided &c  In Witness &c  Witness our Trusty and Wellbeloved Hugh ~ 
Drysdale Esqr. Our Lt. Govr. &c  at Williamsburgh under the Seal of Our Said Colony __ 
the Ninth day of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Four in the Tenth 
Year of our Reign ~
