George the Second &c. To all &c. Know ye that for divers good Causes and Considerations _ but more Especially for and in Consideration of the Sum' of Ten Shillings of good and Lawfull __ mony for our Use paid to our Receiver General of our Revenues in this our Colony and _ __ Dominion of Virginia We have Given Granted and Confirmed and by these _ __ Presents for us our Heirs and Successors Do Give Grant and Confirm unto Joseph Turner One _ Certain Tract or Parcel of Land Containing One Hundred acres Lying and being on the _ South side of the main black water Swamp in the County of Isle of Wight and bounded _ as Followeth (to wit) Beginning at an Ash on the West side of Tucker's Swamp _ Thence South Seventy three Degrees West Six Poles to a four Trees chop'd inwards a Corner of the said Turner's other Land Then by his own old Line South Twenty five Degrees West Two Hundred Pole to a white Oak Then South Seventy five Degrees West Ten Pole to a red Oak __ Then South Forty Degrees West Twenty Pole to a Pine aline Tree of William Kinchen's _ Land Then by Kinchen's Line North Ninty Pole to a white Oak a Corner Tree of Edward Boykin's Land Then by Boykins's Line East North East Fifty Eight Poles to alive Oak by the side of ___ Tuckers Swamp aforesaid and up the Various Courses of the run of the said Swamp to the _ begining With all &c.
