     William ATKINSON, trustee, & Irvin (Irving) W. DUCK to Arrington BRITT, 
        deed of release, 43 acres & personal property, 20 Mar 1856 (21 Apr 1856)

This Indenture made this      day of        in the year of our Lord 1852 
between Wm. Atkinson of the first part  Arrington Britt of the second part 
and Irvin W. Duck of the third part,  Whereas the said Arinton_ Britt 
on the 23rd. day of July in the year 1852 in order to secure the 
Payment of the sum of one hundred and ninety two dollars and fifty 
Seven cents to the said Irvin W. Duck  did by indenture of trust of that 
date  convey to the said William Atkinson his heirs, Ex'ors. &c the following 
Property (towit:) forty three acres of land, more or less  together with all of 
the chattel estate mentioned in said deed of Trust, in trust for the 
uses & purposes therein mentioned.  And whereas since the Executing 
and delivery of the said deed of trust, the said Arrington Britt hath 
fully Satisfied and paid to the said Irvin W. Duck the amount 
hereby specified & secured  which the said Irvin W. Duck doth hereby

acknowledge,  And the said Wm. Atkinson & I.W. Duck do covenant with 
and warrand_ all right and title to the aforesaid real & personal estate to the 
said Arrington Britt  as fully as it was conveyed by said Britt to 
the said Wm. Atkinson & I.W. Duck.  Given under our hands and seals 
this 20th. day of March 1856.

Southampton County.  In the Clerk's office the 21st day of April 1856 
 This Deed of Release was proved as to Wm. Atkinson & Irvin W. Duck 
 parties thereto by the oaths of N.C. Herrin & William T. Herrin the subscrib-
 ing witnesses thereto and thereupon admitted to record
