STEPHENSON, for Willis BRADSHAW Deed of Trust [margin note] Ex.d This Deed made this 25.th day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, between Matthew MUNTFORD, (Grantor) of the one part and Richard M. STEPHENSON (Trustee) of the other part. Witnesseth: that the said Matthew MUNTFORD, (Grantor) doth grant unto the said Richard M. STEPHENSON (Trustee) the following property, Viz: Sixty acres of land more or less, it being the same on which the said Matthew MUNTFORD, now resides, situate and lying in Southampton County three miles more or less West of Berlin and bounded by the lands of Geo. W. STEPHENSON, Gilbert DREWRY, James RAENY & others- to secure a note due Willis BRADSHAW for Sixty Dollars, due the 25.th day of February 1876, the Conditions of this deed are as follows, Should the aforesaid note be paid When Called for in full, then this deed to be null and void- Otherwise, R.M. STEPHENSON the (trustee) Will advertise and sell the same upon the premises for Cash, first pay all legal Charges attending the sale, then pay the aforesaid nore and interest, the balance if any pay to the aforesaid Matthew MUNTFORD or his legal representative, Witness the my hand and seal this day above written.
