LOWE Deed of Bargain & Sale [margin notes] Exam'd 6/16/1884 This Deed made this 3.d day of June in the year one thousand Eight Hundred & Eighty four between T.J. LOWE and Mary E. his wife of the first part and James T. LOWE of the second part, Witnesseth: that in consideration of the sum of ($100.00) one hundred dollars, the said parties of the first part do grant unto the said James T. LOWE and his heirs forever, with general warranty, all their right, title and interest in a certain piece or parcel of land, Known as a part or a portion of the original GRIFFIN Tract, which was conveyed by a Deed from W.N. PRETLOW, Special Commissioner, to the said T.J. LOWE, Containing (50) fifty acres, more or less, and bounded North by the lands of the said T.J. LOWE and A.W. BRANCH, East said A.W. BRANCH's and S.W. JOHNSON's lands, South by S.W. JOHNSON's and T.J. LOWE's lands, West R.A. BRISTOW and said T.J. LOWE's lands. The said parties of the first part covenant that they have the right to convey the said land to the grantee, that they have done no act to encumber the said land, that the grantee shall have quiet possession of the said land, and free from all encumbrances , and that they the said parties of the first part will execute such further assurances of the said land as may be requisite, Witness the following Signatures and Seals...
