(JOHNSON) to Nicholas EDWARDS Deed of Bargain & Sale [margin notes] Exam'd Tax 50¢ This Deed made the 8.th day of June 1893, between Everett RAIFORD and Martha C. RAIFORD, his wife of the first part, and Nicholas EDWARDS of the second part, all of Southampton County, Virginia, Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and twenty- five and 00/100 dollars the said parties of the first part do grant and hererby convey, with general warranty, unto the said Nicholas EDWARDS that parcel or tract of land Known as the part of the Orris ['Orrin' in subsequent deeds] DOLES Tract which was conveyed by deed of Bargain and Sale [DB37:697-98] on the 12th day of September 1891 from Moody A. MUNFORD and wife to said Everett RAIFORD, containing (37) thirty seven acres, More or less, and adjoining the lands of Mills E. RAIFORD and others with all buildings and appurtenances thereto.
