RAIFORD Deed of Bargain & Sale [margin note] Examined This deed made this 30th day of October in the year 1900 between Carr MUNFORD and Wilmoth L. MUNFORD, his wife, of the first part and John S. RAIFORD of the second part witnesseth, that for and in concideration [erroneous "c" underlined] of the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars, the payment of which is hereby acknowledged, the said parties of the first part do grant and sell unto the party of the second part with general warranty the following property to wit. All that tract of land on which the said parties [page break] [p.] 510 of first part now reside known as the Sylweline JOHNSON tract containing fifty acres more or less, and bounded on the east by the land of Andrew HOLT, on the North by the land of Jas. GOULD, on the west by the land of T.J. LOWE and on the South by the land of R.M. EDWARDS; and it is further covenanted by the parties of the first part that the said party of the second part shall have quiet possession of the same; that they have a right to convey the said land to him and that they will execute such further assurances of the said land as may be requisite to protect him in his rights to the same.
