WILLIAMS Deed of Bargain & Sale [margin note] MOUN.D to WILLIAMS This Indenture made this Twelfth day of November in the year of our Lord Christ 1772 Between Wade MOUNFORT of the parish of Nottoway & County of Southampton of the one part & Sion WILLIAMS of the parish & County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Wade MOUNTFORT for & in Consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds Current money of Virginia to him in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge my self fully & entirely Satisfied & paid & I the said MOUNTFORD have bargained & Sold Alien enfeeofd. & Confirmd & by these doth bargain seell alien enfeeoff & forever Confirm unto the said Sion WILLIAMS to him & his hiers forever & by these presents I the said Wade MOUNTFORT have bargained & sold unto branch which makes into Jack branch at a Spanish Oak near the branch run then running up to the head of the branch the Various Cours of the branch to a white Oak a Corner Tree in Thomas LANKFOTs line then the said LANKFORTs a line of markt Trees to a pine a Corner in Joshua JOYNERs line Then the said JOYNERs a line of markt Trees to a Spanish Oak a Corner Tree the beginning place To have & to hild the aforesaid land & premises Together with all woods underwoods ways water water Courses hereditaments & Appurtenances therunto belonging to the only proper use & behoof of him the said Sion WILLIAMS
