This Indenture made this sixteenth day of January one thousand Seven hundred
and ninety eight  Between Jacob Rix of Southampton County of the one part and
William Wren of Sussex County of the other part Witnesseth that the Said Jacob
Rix for and in consideration of the sum of seven Pounds and ten Pence half
penny to him in hand paid by the said William Wren the receipt hereof the said
Jacob Rix doth hereby acknowledg he the said Jacob Rix hath granted bargain'd
and Sold Alien Enfeoff and by these presents doth grant bargain and Sell Alien
Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said William Wren his heirs and Assigns forever
one certain tract or parcel of Land containing fifty acres be the same more or
Less  Situate lying and being in the County of Southampton on the North side
of faggy Run Swamp and bounded by Richard Roses line William Porters and
William Washington lines it being the Tract of Land the said Jacob Recks
bought of Sam Rix reference being had thereto will at large more fully appear
and also all Trees Woods underwoods Commons Common of Pastures profits
Commodities Advantages Emoluments and hereditaments whatever to the said Tract
or parcel of Land above mentioned belonging or in wise appurtaining or in ???
upon the Same growing happening or ariseing and also the Reveision and
Reveisions Remainder and Remainders Rents & Services of the Said premises and
of every part and parcel thereof To have and to hold all and Singular the said
premises above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with the
appurtenances unto the said William Wren his heirs and Assigns to the only
proper use and behoof of him the said William Wren his heirs and Assigns
forever and the said Jacob Rix for himself and his heirs the said tract of
Land and every part thereof against himself his heirs and against all and
every other person and persons whatsoever to the said William Wren his heirs
and Assigns Shall and will warrent and forever Defend by these presents  
In Witness whereof the said Jacob Rix have hereunto set his hand and affixed 
his seal the Day and Year above Written
