Kills Wife & Self

W T Munford, for a few years a resident of Isle of Wight County, Sunday shot 
his wife while she was standing in the yard at their Roanoke Rapids, NC home 
& then turned the revolver on himself, causing instant death.

Munford and his wife had separated years ago, but on meeting sometime ago, 
decided to live together again, but some domestic difficulties came up and he 
decided to end it all.

Interment was made at Franklin, Va.

Eight children survive.

 was b. 21 Jun 1878, Isle of Wight Co. 
 They were m. 27 Dec 1905, IoW, by I. Walter JOHNS. (IoW M.Reg. 1905, #131)
 Their surviving children were raised by Eddie T. BRADSHAW, of IoW Co.
 Crissie is buried at Mt. Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters.]
