Death Records (1853-1890) give the following: Barden, Copeland, d. 28 Oct 1893, age 71, [parents not known] {orig.p. 6 #13} (Southampton Co. Death Records {1853-1890}, p. 74) He appears in the 1870 Census (Boykins Twp., p. 162a, dwl/fam 231), a laborer, age 48, with wife Agnes (40) & 2 daughters.
