           Fire Record. 
      DWELLING-HOUSE BURNED. 
[Special telegram to the Dispatch.] 

  BOYKINS'S, VA., June 19.- The residence of Walter S. Dorden, [sic; Darden] 
in Southampton county, three miles from here, was totally destroyed by fire 
last night.  Nothing was saved.  The inmates barely escaped with their lives. 
Incendiary. Less, $1,000; no insurance.
