   John Nathaniel SEBRELL, appointed postmaster at Jerusalem P.O., 2 May 1881 - 
   Eveline R. (CHAPPELL; Mrs. Richard H.) BLYTHE, resigned

APPOINTMENT OF VIRGINIA POSTMASTERS. 

 WASHINGTON, May 2.- The following Virginia postmasters were appointed to-day: 
Carver Willis, in place of William Dillard, resigned, at Dillard's Wharf; 
Daniel B. Kutz, in place of P.H. Woolwine, declined, at Holston, Washington 
county; J.N. Sebriell, [sic] in place of Eveline R. Blaythe, [sic] resigned, 
at Jerusalem, Southampton county; T.F. Kyle, in place of S.D. Kirtley, 
resigned, at Seville, Madison county.

Eveline is buried in a BLYTHE family cemetery, in Courtland, 
   between the clerk's office & Riverside Cemetery.

John was a lawyer.  (Southampton Co. MB2:24 & 1880 Census - Jerusalem) 

He was a farmer when he died, 9 Dec 1924; his wife Romine d. 24 Dec 1924. 
   Apparently unmarked, they have been added to Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, 
   Southampton County Historical Society {SCHS} Cemetery Project, 
   Riverside list (RS-UNK):

Jerusalem was renamed Courtland in 1888.
