French Pittman, 40, and Mrs. Julius Pittman, 21, both of Baltimore, Md., died early yesterday in a Petersburg hospital, the third and fourth victims of an automobile accident at the intersections of Routes 301 and 25, 12 miles south of Petersburg early Sunday. Mrs. French Pittman, 40, and Julius Pittman, 21, died shortly after their machine collided with a truck on a curve. Two other passengers in the Pittman machine, Rufus Gardner, 22, and Curtis Pittman, 8, both of Baltimore, and a passenger in the truck, Walter R. Douglas, 29, of Manatee, La., were injured in the crash. All were in a Petersburg hospital where their condition was said to be fair last night. Franklin Man Killed Stanley Scott, 28, of Franklin, was killed in an automobile-truck accident about a mile east of Suffolk on the Suffolk-Portsmouth Highway late Sunday night. Leonard H. Joyner, 19, of Ivor, was injured fatally Sunday night when his automobile failed to make a turn on a highway near his home and struck a tree. Joyner died yesterday in a Suffolk hospital. Meanwhile, a Berryville man was killed and his wife and two other persons were injured late Sunday when their automobile overturned two miles south of Charles Town, W. Va. The dead man was identified as Irving McNeely of Berryville. The injured were his wife; Frank Ashley and Cootie Everhart, both of Berryville. They were admitted to a Charles Town hospital. Four Injured Four persons were injured in an automobile-truck collision on Route 1, a mile south of Fredericksburg early yesterday. Both vehicles caught fire after the crash and burned. The truck was loaded with macaroni. The injured were listed as Private John Horn of Camp Lee; Wilson H. Davenport of Scottsburg, Charles Moorefield of Scottsburg and Pete Lobianco of York, Pa. All suffered multiple cuts and bruises and burns. They were taken to a Fredericksburg hospital for treatment.
