Ira D. Hudgins. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were William H. Cutchins, Delaney Hingerty, Robert Allport Jr., T.A. Vaughan Jr., Marvin Land and Larry Johnson. Mrs. Adkinson, 90, died Friday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Harrison and Mrs. Martha Virginia Parker Vaughan and the widow of Jesse Clement Adkinson. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert B. Allport; a son, John Burnett Johnson; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Joseph H. Stutts, all of Franklin; and four great grandchildren.
