Atkins, died Saturday afternoon, May 6, in Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk. She is survived by two sons, Jack and David Atkins of Ivor; four daughters, Mrs. J.C. Cook of Dendron, Mrs. T.L. Britt of Wakefield, and Mrs. M.T. Joyner and Mrs. S.S. Kea of Ivor; 25 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one brother, W.T. Felts of Wakefield. Funeral services were conducted at the Ivor Methodist Church at 3:30 o’clock Monday afternoon by Rev. J.L. Blankenship. Music was furnished by the choir. Active pallbearers were G.C. Niblett, William Billups, H.R. Freeman, B.F. Felts, J.T. Faircloth, W.C. Andrews and Payton Gay. The casket was covered by a pall of lilies and American Beauty roses.
