He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Fowler Allen, and a daughter, Miss Adina Allen, both of Doswell; four brothers, Emmett Allen and Berkley Allen of Glen Allen, and George O. and Earl Allen of Ashland; and two sisters, Mrs. B.J. Smith of Ashland and Mrs. Warren Smith of Ladysmith. Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Crew & Clayton Funeral Home in Ashland, followed by interment in Poplar Spring Cemetery in Franklin.
