ELIZABETH "BESSIE" BARKER LAWLESS ARTHUR 

  VIRGINIA BEACH - A funeral service for Mrs. Bessie Lawless Arthur, 89, was 
held Tuesday March 12, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments by Rev. Dr. R. Orman 
Bryant.

  Burial was in Nimmo United Methodist Church Cemetery.

  Mrs. Arthur of 214 71st St., the widow of Dr. William Hardy Arthur, died 
Sunday in a Norfolk hospital.

  A native of St. Joseph, Mo., she was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harold B. Kellam  of Virginia Beach 
and Mrs. Mary A. Larsh of Franklin.
