All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ALICE CHRISTINE BABB Miss Alice Christine Babb, 24, daughter of Mack and Gertie Morris Babb of Sebrell, died in a Williamsburg hospital Sunday morning, June 18, after an illness of six months. Besides her parents she is survived by three brothers, Mack, Arthur and Louis Babb of Sebrell and Robert L. Babb of Jarratt; three sisters, Mrs. B.F. Morris of Homeville and Mrs. M.T. Jenkins and Mrs. T.N. Vaughan of Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral rites for Miss Babb were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Courtland Methodist Church by the pastor, Rev. Otis L. Gilliam, followed by interment in the Courtland Cemetery. The pallbearers were Willie Williams, M.T. Jenkins, W.J. Vaughan, W.H. Vaughan, L.L. Morris and Edward Wells.
