He was employed by the Camp Manufacturing Company as a meat cutter in its store. Mr. Babb was the son of the late James and Maggie Babb of this county. He was a member of High Street Methodist Church and the men's Bible class of the church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mabel Parker Babb of Franklin; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Babb Smith of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; four brothers, Thomas Babb of Sebrell and George, Jack and Joe Babb of Courtland; and two sisters Mrs. Grace Vaughan of Courtland and Mrs. Ida Bradshaw of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services for Mr. Babb will be held this Friday morning 11 a.m. o'clock at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery, with Revs. Elmer N. Hassell and Ira D. Hudgins officiating.
