Freemason Street, his resident in Norfolk. A native of Southampton county, he had resided in Norfolk for the past 29 years. He was a son of the late Dr. Benjamin F. Babb and Mrs. Lula Mae Raiford Babb of Ivor. He is survived by three brothers, C.W. Babb of Norfolk and B.F. and S.H. Babb of Ivor; three sisters, Mrs. L.G. Conner of Norfolk, Mrs. B. White of Suffolk and Mrs. Gordon Smith of Richmond; and a stepmother, Mrs. B.F. Babb of Ivor. Funeral services for Mr. Babb were held at the Corinth Meetinghouse on Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock followed by burial in the Ivor Cemetery. The pallbearers were Herman Barnes, John E. Babb, L.H. Babb, John C. Bradshaw, William Neave, Fred Raiford, Joseph C. Raiford and Johnny Stephenson.
