Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Miss Marie Babb; three sons, Garland, Joe Bynum and Allison, all of Sebrell; his mother, Mrs. Maggie Babb; six brothers, Tom, John, Jack, George and Joe Babb of Sebrell and community, and Walter Babb of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. G.B. Vaughan of Sebrell and Mrs. Ida Bradshaw of Los Angeles, Cal. He was a member of Sebrell M.E. Church. Funeral services were held at the grave in Sebrell cemetery Thursday afternoon at 2:30 by Rev. A.W. Roten. The pallbearers were Tom, John, Walter, George, Jack and Joe Babb. Find a Grave calls it the Barn Tavern Cemetery. His parents, John Thomas & Margaret "Maggie" (DOYLE) BABB, are buried in the same plot. D.Cert. 30748 (Blackwater #14) d. 28 [altered] Dec 1937, but treated by Dr. W.T. McLEMORE 25-29 Dec. His widow Lula Belle (VICK) BABB (1888 - 1960) is buried with her parents in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms.
