Holland and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton Jr. Burial was in Readville Baptist Church Cemetery in Sussex County. Pallbearers were Joe Morris, Henry Jarratt, James Morris, Harvey Gilbert, Benny Morris and Thomas Jenkins. A native of Southampton County until a week ago, he was the son of Mrs. Martha W. Curry of Pasco, Wash. and the late Lee Babb, and husband of the late Pearl Jones Babb. He was a retired farmer and member of the Methodist Church. Besides his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Virginia B. Babb, Courtland; one son, Lloyd Lee Babb, Fort Polk, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Sellars, Wilmington, N.C. and Mrs. Hellen Leland, Pasco, Wash.; four brothers, Callus Sylvester, Va. Beach, Frank Curry, Richmond, Gilbert Curry, Wilmington, N.C.; and Raymond Curry, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
