He was a son of Henry H. and Mrs. Elizabeth Griffith Beach of Franklin. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Mary B. Edwards of Norfolk, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. by the Rev. Donald Dunlap, assistant pastor of the Franklin Baptist Church. Pallbearers were C.C. Blythe, Jr., Emmett Holt, J. Richard Lawrence and David T. Lawrence.
