Wilt of First Church of Christ Scientist. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Pallbearers were Frank Ford, Wilson Johnson Sr., Harold Addenbrook, Lawrence Eley, Richard Collums, Henry Edye, Redford Need and Wallace Robertson. Mrs. Bugg, 75 of 528 Westover Ave., a retired teacher died in a hospital Thursday at 1:10 p.m. after a long illness. A native of Franklin, she lived here most of her life. She was the wife of Robert G.P. Bugg and a daughter of Henry A. and Mrs. Mattie Beale Williams. She was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist. She attended public schools in Norfolk and was a graduate of Radford State Teachers College. She taught at the old Virginia College in Roanoke. Surviving besides her husband, are a son, Robert H. Bugg of Norfolk; and a sister, Mrs. Roland A. Williams, and a niece, Mrs. Robert J. MacDonald, both of Scottsburg, Va. Mary Rebecca (WILLIAMS; Mrs. Robert G.P.)
