SADIE COLE BASHO

   COURTLAND - A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Sadie Cole Basho was 
conducted Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. in Riverside cemetery, Courtland, 
by the Rev. Stanton Sizemore of Forest Hill Church, Richmond.  W.J.M. Holland 
& Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, was in charge.

   Mrs. Basho, 95, died Thursday in a Newton, N.J., nursing home after a short 
illness.

   A native of Iowa, she was the widow of the Rev. B.K. Basho.  She and her 
husband formerly lived in Courtland and in Richmond.  Her late parents were 
George and Mrs. Mary Jane Hanna Cole.

   She was a member of Forest Hill Presbyterian Church, Richmond.

   Surviving are nieces and nephews.
