C.E. Gerringer and the Rev. Harold Lewis. Burial was in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Pallbearers were Clarence Pittman, R. Nixon Jr., Claude Phillips and Bill Vick. Baggett died Monday at 10:30 p.m. in his residence after a long illness. A native of Franklin, he was the son of Herman Ray and Mrs. Mary Williams Baggett. He was a member of Courtland Baptist Church. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Miss Donna Marie Baggett and Miss Mary Katherine Baggett, and a brother, Leonard Ray Baggett of Courtland; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Williams of Tripplette and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Henry Gradey Baggett of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
