ELIZABETH MARY COLE BUCKLEY

   Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Buckley, aged 88 years, a well-known resident of the 
Courtland community, died Wednesday afternoon, June 2, at the home of her 
sister, Mrs. B.K. Basho, after a short illness.  She was the widow of the 
late Philip Buckley of St. Petersburg, Fla., and the daughter of the late 
George and Mary Hann* Cole of Girard, Pa.  A member of the Presbyterian 
Church in St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Buckley had been making her home with 
her sister, Mrs. Basho, since the death of her husband.

   She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Louis Fischer of Niagara Falls, 
Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one 
great-great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. B.K. Basho of Courtland; and a 
number of nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Buckley will be held Sunday afternoon at two 
o'clock in the chapel of the Holland Funeral Home, with Rev. Graham C. 
McChesney, pastor of the Suffolk Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Burial 
will be in the cemetery at Courtland.
