A retired car-man of the Seaboard Air Line Railroad, he had made his home in Portsmouth for the past 44 years. He attended the Port Norfolk Baptist Church, and was a member of Local 188, Brotherhood of Railroad Car-men of America. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Georgia Ann Baugham; two sons, Lloyd Edward Baugham of Atlanta, Ga., and Hugh McCoy Baugham of Alexandria; and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Baugham of Newsoms and Mrs. J.W. Ricks of Courtland. Funeral services were conducted at the Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth, on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock; and burial was in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins.
