JAMES FRANKLIN BOYKINS, JR.

   Courtland - A funeral service for James Franklin Boykins, 61, was held 
Saturday at 2 p.m. in Southampton Memorial Park, Franklin, by the Rev. Willis H. 
Switzer.

   He died Thursday in his home.

   He was a native of Southampton County and a son of Mrs. Sue Roberts Boykins. 
He was a retired farmer.

   Survivors also include nieces and nephews.
