Vann E. Cash. Masonic rites were accorded at the grave. Echols Funeral Home had charge. Baker a retired merchant died Sunday in Greenville Memorial Hospital, Emporia. A native of Southampton County, he and his brother had owned and operated a mercantile store in Capron. Survivors include five sisters, Misses Mary Sue Baker, Florence Baker and Augusta Baker of Capron, Mrs. Grace Moore of Emporia and Mrs. Eunice Birdsall of Afton; and a brother, Roland T. Baker of Capron; and nieces and nephews.
