Bogart was conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. The funeral procession left I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers were R.A. Pretlow Jr., J.W. Pulley Jr., A.G. Howell, Tony Cobb, R. Ashby Rawls, Dr. Darden W. Jones, Handy Moore and W.R. Atkinson Sr. Mrs. Bogart, 75, of 307 Clay St. died Sunday at 6:40 a.m. in Louise Obici Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness. A native of Nansemond County, she was the widow of William O. Bogart and a daughter of John B. and Mrs. Helen Griffin Owens of Isle of Wight County.* She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. C.P. Holland Jr. of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. J.W. Pulley of Courtland and Mrs. Sol Noreck of Franklin; and four grandchildren. Lydia (OWENS; Mrs. William O.)
