All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Mrs. Mary Boothe Dies After Illness Mrs. Mary Doyle Boothe, wife of John Boothe, died at her home at Sebrell yesterday morning after a long illness, aged 67 years. She had been in bed several months, being practically an invalid. Besides her husband she is survived by three brothers, R.W. Doyle, of Lunenburg County; J.T. Doyle, of Emporia, and M.H. Doyle, of Vicksville; two sisters, Mrs. M.F. Turner, of Jackson, N.C., and Miss Ida Doyle, of Miami, Fla. She was a member of the Sebrell Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the grave at the old family burying ground near Vicksville, Friday at 2 o’clock. Mary Eliza (DOYLE; Mrs. John Henry) BOOTHE, b. He appears in the 1930 Census in the Berlin & Ivor Dist., Owning General Farm #215, on the Vicksville-Dory Rd., adjacent to his in-laws (Farm #214). They were children of Elvin E. and Martha A. Ferguson Doyle. Mary & John, s/o Henry and Antoinette Boothe, m. 02-09-1899. (So.Co. MB9:495) They appear in the 1910 Census in the Berlin & Ivor Dist., Renting Farm #155, along the road from Holmes' to Brantley's; it gives 4 of 5 children surviving, but lists only 3.
