She was the wife of William Robert Butler, a native of Yale, Sussex County; a member of the High Street United Methodist Church; Southampton Temple No. 15, Pythian Sisters; Daughters of the Confederacy; and State Chapter of American Cancer Society. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Bobby Butler of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Francis of Boykins and Mrs. Elsie Jarrett of Capron; one brother, James Avent of Buffalo, N.Y.; two grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday, at 2:30 P.M. at the High Street United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Wade Munford and Rev. R.E. Brittle. Interment Capron Cemetery with Pythian Rites at the graveside.
