STEPHEN CLAIBORNE BUTLER

   Zuni - The funeral for Stephen C. Butler, 75, was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday 
in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

   The Rev. Stephenson N. Weed conducted the service.  Wright Funeral Home was 
in charge.

   Mr. Butler died Friday in his home.  He was a retired barber.

   Mr. Butler was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.

   Survivors include his wife Madge Jones Butler, a daughter Norma B.B. Bradshaw 
of Zuni; a brother Walter H. "Jiggs" Butler of Windsor; 2 grandchildren and 4 
great grandchildren.
