Bealton, formerly of Southampton county, died this morning at the residence of his son. The deceased was fifty-one years of age, and was a gallant soldier in the war. Death Records (1853-1890) give the following: Beaton, George E., d. 7 Jul 1892, age 54, sn/o E. & M. Beaton {orig.p. 6 #24} (Southampton Co. Death Records {1853-1890}, p. 87) He appears in the 1850 Census (St Luke's P'sh, p. 258b, dwl/fam 296), age 12, with father Edward (37), stepmother Susanna A. (20), and siblings.
