All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ GEORGIANNA BLYTHE BEATON Mrs. George Anna Beaton, a former resident of Southampton County, died in Portsmouth Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.W. Hasty, with whom she had made her home for several years past. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.R. Hasty of Portsmouth and Mrs. W.H. Shaw of Newsoms; three sons, L.L. Beaton of Portsmouth and J.R. and J.A. Beaton of Franklin; three half-sisters, four half-brothers, 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services were held from the Holland Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. B.B. Bland of High St. Methodist Church. Interment followed in the family plot near the old homestead in the Franklin community. Pallbearers were the following grandsons; Sydney, Lawrence, George, Vernon, Robert, Livy, Richmond and Sam Hasty. Georgianna (BLYTHE; Mrs. Richard L.)
