C.L. Gatling, pastor and the Rev. W.B. Watson of Keller. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Mills Luter, David Whitley, Roland Whitley, Marvin Whitley, Bernard Smith, Dr. Henry Gardner, Otis Blythe and Fenton Beale. Mrs. Beaton, 89, the widow of Edward Hunter Beaton, died Sunday at 6:15 p.m. in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hattie B. Duck. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of William B. and Mrs. Margaret Worrell Hatfield. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are four other daughters, Mrs. Myrtle B. King of Arlington, Mrs. Mary B. Raiford of Victoria, Mrs. Jesse B. Lindsey of Falls Church, and Mrs. Wilma B. Bartholomew of Charlottesville; a brother, Linwood T. Raiford of Alexandria; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great- grandchild. Mary Anna (HATFIELD; Mrs. Edward H.)
