Beaton, daughter of the late William Massenburg and Antoinette Magette Beaton, was buried Tuesday morning in Beechwood Cemetery. She died at her home in Portsmouth. Miss Beaton was a native of Boykins, but had made her home in Portsmouth for the past 35 years, where she was employed in the auditor of revenue office of the Seaboard Air Line Railway. Miss Beaton was a member of the Monumental Methodist Church. The deceased is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Charles F. Licklider of Portsmouth and Mrs. M.A. Mansoni of Norfolk, one brother, William Beaton of Clayton, Wash., and several nieces and cousins, two of whom live in Boykins, Mayor C.T. Beaton and N.S.
