Holland and Sons. Rev. L.F. Smith of Newsoms, pastor of the Sunbeam Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Newsoms Cemetery, the pallbearers being C.C. Bailey, J.D. Bailey, Andrew Drake, R.E. Drake, M.B. Edwards, N.T. Holland, M.H. Johnson and J.H. Modlin. Mr. Bailey is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Spurgeon Beale of Sunbeam and Mrs. Mert Jordan of Franklin; a son, Allen Bailey of Como, N.C.; six grandchildren; six brothers, Harvey Bailey of Norfolk, Robert Bailey of Franklin, Waverly Bailey of Suffolk, and Olie, Howard H. and Warren H. Bailey, all of Como; and three sisters, Mrs. N.T. Holland of Como, Mrs. C.R. Jenkins of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Milton Worrell of Newsoms.
