ERNEST LINWOOD BEALE JR.

   A funeral service for Ernest L. Beale Jr., 54, of Richmond was held Sunday 
at 2 p.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Charles L. Smith.

   Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were H. Sheppard Johnson, James C. Beale Jr., J. Burkhardt 
Beale Jr., John Milton Beale Jr., R.C. Council Jr. and Leonard Rogers.

   A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Ernest L. Beale Sr. and 
Mrs. Carrie Vaughan Beale.

   He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

   He is survived by two brothers, J. Vaughan Beale and John Milton Beale both 
of Franklin.*
