Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Irvin D. Beale, of Petersburg, Emmett and Mills Beale, Jr. of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Cobb, of Sedley; Mrs. Joseph Cutchins and Mrs. Lucius Blythe, of Franklin and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon from the Franklin Christian Church at 2:30 o’clock by the Rev. R.E. Brittle, Dr. Elwood W. Jones and the Rev. I.W. Barkley, of Petersburg. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** ELLA DRAKE BEALE Mrs. Ella Beale, wife of Mills Beale, Sr. well-known resident of Franklin community, died Monday, December 7, at her home after an illness of a few weeks. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Irvin D. Beale of Petersburg, Emmett and Mills Beale, Jr. of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Cobb of Sedley and Mrs. Joseph Cutchins and Mrs. Lucius Blythe of Franklin and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Franklin Christian Church at 2:30 o’clock conducted by the Rev. R.E. Brittle, Dr. Elwood W. Jones and the Rev. I.W. Barkley of Petersburg. Burial was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery, the active pallbearers being E.L. Beale, Vincent Lankford, Geo. H. Parker, Tony Cobb, Harvey Cutchins, E.J. Wallace of Petersburg, Johnie and Morris Cotton of Portsmouth.
