All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ELIZABETH CAROLINE BEALE FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Miss Elizabeth Caroline Beale was held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Emanuel Episcopal Church by the Rev. Ben R. Duffey. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, with Wright Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were: John D. Munford, William Bannester, Hanes Byerly, Waring Smith, Dr. Robert Edwards, and William M. Camp. Miss Beale died Sunday in a Raleigh, N.C. hospital. A native of Franklin, she was the daughter of Leland Edwin Beale Jr. and the late Mrs. Mildred Irvin Beale. She was a member of Emanuel Episcopal Church and a graduate of St. Mary’s College, Hollins College, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was an employee of Central Carolina Bank of Durham, N.C. Other survivors include a brother, Leland E. Beale, III.
