All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ HESTER PANINNA EDWARDS BEALE Mrs. Hester Edwards Beale, 74, a lifelong resident of this county, died Sunday night, May 20, at the home of her son, Floyd Beale, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Beale was the widow of Samuel R. Beale and daughter of the late John Wesley and Anna Vick Edwards, also of the county. She was a member of the Courtland Methodist Church and its Woman's Society of Christian Service, in which she was an active member until illness forces her to relinquish her work. Besides her son Mrs. Beale is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lewis Gillette of Franklin and Mrs. Eunice Bradshaw and Mrs. Finnis Henderson, both of Norfolk; eight grandchildren.
