Mrs. Bailey, a native of Hertford County, NC, was the widow of Robert G. Bailey, Sr. She was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church, Como, NC. Survivors include a daughter, Ruth B. Dunlow, and two sons, Robert G. Bailey, Jr., and James Dillard Bailey, all of Franklin; three sisters, Gertrude Oschenhirt of San Bruno, Calif., Susie Jones of Winterville, NC, and Irene Bishop of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday in Wright funeral Home by the Revs. Reginald Warren and Kenneth Williams. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park.
