IDA BELLE STEPHENSON BAILEY

FRANKLIN - Ida Stephenson Bailey, 84, of Route 1, died Sept. 4, 1987, in her 
home.  Mrs. Bailey, a native of Hertford County, NC, was the widow of Robert 
G. Bailey, Sr.  She was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church, Como, NC. 
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth B. Dunlow, and two sons, Robert G. Bailey, 
Jr., and James Dillard Bailey, all of Franklin; three sisters, Gertrude 
Oschenhirt of San Bruno, Calif., Susie Jones of Winterville, NC, and Irene 
Bishop of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  The 
funeral will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday in Wright funeral Home by the Revs. 
Reginald Warren and Kenneth Williams.  Burial will be in Southampton Memorial 
Park.  The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 pm today.

   FRANKLIN - Ida Stephenson Bailey, 84, of Route 1, died Sept. 4, in her home.

   Mrs. Bailey, a native of Hertford County, N.C., was the widow of Robert G. 
Bailey Sr.  She was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church, Como, N.C.

   Survivors include a daughter, Ruth B. Dunlow, and two sons, Robert G.
