KENNETH FRANCIS BAILEY

   COURTLAND - A funeral service for Kenneth Francis Bailey, 39, was held 
Saturday at 2 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, by the Revs. Arthur W. Green and 
Harry W. Bunch.  Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Bailey died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  

   A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Nancy Watson 
Bailey.

   He was an electrician for Union Camp Corp. and was a member of Mount Horeb 
United Methodist Church, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1573, and Newsoms Hunt 
Club.

   Other survivors include his parents, Tilman Vann Bailey Sr., and Mrs. Rosa 
Francis Bailey of Franklin; a son, Bryan Kenneth Bailey of the home; four 
sisters, Mrs. Bessie B. Johnson of Handsom, Mrs. Dorothy B. Gelhous of 
Newsoms, and Mrs. Vivian B. Kaikas of Freemont, Calif.; and two brothers, 
William C. Bailey Sr. of Courtland and Tilman Vann Bailey, Jr. of Pine Bluff, 
Ark.
