JOHN BEALE After a brief illness, Mrs. John Beale peacefully passed away on December 24th, 1917, at her home in Boykins. She had been in her usual health until about ten days before her death which was caused by pneumonia. Mrs. Beale was a member of the Franklin M.E. Church, a conscientious Christian, faithful wife and devoted mother, loved and esteemed by those who knew her. She leaves a husband and four small children to mourn their loss. Funeral exercises were conducted at the cemetery on December 26, by Rev. Porter Hardy of the M.E. church and Rev. H.P. Dalton of the Baptist Church.
