All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MARY ESTELLE WILLS BEALE Mrs. Mary Wills Beale, age 72 years, well known resident of the Franklin community, and the widow of the late James Bogue Beale, died Tuesday morning suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul F. Rose, on the Franklin- Courtland Highway. Mrs. Beale was the daughter of the late John and Mary Elizabeth Wills of Southampton County. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church, where she served for many years. She is survived by her stepmother, Mrs. Maggie Hogwood, Norfolk, two sons, John E. Beale and Willard Beale of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Paul F. Rose, Franklin, Mrs. J.C. Bristow, Norfolk, and Mrs. W.T. Powell, Lawrenceville; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George Beale, Franklin, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mary Estelle (WILLS; Mrs. James B.)
