ROBERT IRVING BEALE

   Franklin - A funeral service for Robert Irving Beale, 60, was held Saturday 
at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. William Everhart.

   He died Thursday in his home at 208B Beale Court.

   He was a native of Franklin and a member of Franklin Congregational 
Christian Church. He was retired from Franklin Peanut Co.  He was an Army 
veteran of World War II and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

   He was a graduate of Fishburne Military Academy at Waynesboro.

   Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Alice Prange of Rogers, Ark. And Mrs. 
Nancy Guin of Shreveport, La.; and three brothers, James C. Beale, Jr. and 
Warren S. Beale of Franklin, and Cyrus Lewis Beale of Hampton.
